1. Nature of the service
Jaaduwul is a civic reporting, local alert, mapping, directory, review, advertising and community coordination platform. Jaaduwul is not a court, police service, emergency service, public authority, investigation body, insurer, certification authority or official crisis management service. Information published on Jaaduwul is intended to help communities identify visible local problems and connect with relevant actors.
2. User responsibility
Each user is solely responsible for the content they submit, including text, photos, videos, documents, reviews, ratings, contact details, locations, comments, advertisements and messages. Users must only publish information they sincerely believe to be accurate, proportionate, lawful, useful and based on observable facts.
3. Prohibited content
Users must not publish defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, misleading, violent, sexual, illegal or privacy-invasive content. Personal accusations, unverified allegations against identifiable persons, disclosure of private information, impersonation, spam, fake emergencies and manipulation of votes or ratings are prohibited.
4. Reports and alerts
Reports should concern observable local issues such as damaged roads, water leaks, electricity cuts, waste, floods, public safety issues, environmental problems, transport issues, telecommunications issues or needs for intervention. Sensitive reports may be delayed, hidden, anonymized, moderated, verified, restricted or removed.
5. Authorities, companies and professionals
Organization profiles may be created or completed by users, representatives or the Jaaduwul team. A profile, rating, badge, score, review or listing does not guarantee competence, authorization, availability, legality, quality, solvency or future performance. Users must make their own checks before entering any relationship.
6. Ratings and reviews
Reviews must reflect real, lawful and honest experiences. Fake reviews, paid reviews without disclosure, malicious competitor reviews, coordinated campaigns and rating manipulation are prohibited. Jaaduwul may hide, edit, reject, moderate or delete reviews to protect users and the platform.
7. Advertising, subscriptions and payments
Jaaduwul may offer advertising placements, sponsored listings, subscriptions, premium access, verification, leads, calls for quotes and services for authorities, companies and professionals. Payment does not grant any right to publish unlawful, misleading or harmful content. Jaaduwul may refuse, suspend or remove paid content if it creates a legal, safety, technical, reputational or user-protection risk. Refunds, if any, are reviewed case by case, taking into account payment fees, consumed service time, campaign delivery and applicable laws.
8. Privacy and personal data
Jaaduwul may process account data, contact details, location preferences, country and language preferences, cookies, technical logs, reports, votes, media, messages, ratings, payment data and security history. These data are used to operate the platform, secure accounts, prevent abuse, display local content, personalize country and language, process support requests, manage advertising and comply with legal obligations.
9. Location and country versions
Jaaduwul may use the selected country, subdomain, browser information, cookies, account preferences or user location to display local content. Country subdomains and language versions are provided to improve relevance and SEO. Users remain responsible for complying with the laws of the relevant country.
10. Cookies
Necessary cookies are used for session, security and preferences. Analytics and marketing cookies may be used only according to user choices and applicable laws. Some features may be limited if optional cookies are refused.
11. Moderation and right of reply
Jaaduwul may moderate content automatically, manually or through community signals. Any person, company, professional, authority or organization affected by content may request review, correction, right of reply, limitation or removal. Jaaduwul may request supporting information and keep internal audit logs.
12. Automated tools and translation
Jaaduwul may use automated systems or artificial intelligence for translation, classification, duplicate detection, abuse detection, summaries, recommendations, trust scores and moderation assistance. These tools may be imperfect and do not constitute legal proof, official certification or professional advice.
13. Emergencies
Jaaduwul does not replace emergency numbers or competent authorities. In case of immediate danger, accident, fire, medical emergency, violence, disaster or risk to life, users must directly contact the competent emergency services.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jaaduwul is not liable for user errors, false content, delays, lack of response by third parties, decisions of authorities, services provided by professionals, technical failures, data loss, indirect damages, loss of business, third-party abuse or misuse of the platform.
15. Changes
Jaaduwul may update these rules to improve the service, comply with laws, add countries, languages, payment methods, advertising products or moderation procedures. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the updated rules.
